CD number 2. Well, I know I´m making my reviews way too soon, but I can´t help it, I want to write about this moment of joy to all of you who doesn´t have Blue Guitars yet
Cd 2 is the Country Blues album. Country Blues hasn´t ever been my favorite category of blues but when Chris does it, it can´t go wrong
Of course you can hear pure country blues here, but it´s done with Chris Rea style and that way it works with me. What can I say, great singing voice, lyrics and guitar playing does a lot
While listenning cd 2 you can close your eyes and drift away far from home to some desert road, sun is way too hot even that desert wind tries to cool you. You drift away to some jukejoint middle of nowhere, ladies with low clothing, whiskey is going down, outside there´s some guy playing dobro and singing blues in some corner.
You can imagine that crossroads where Mr. Robert Johnson met Devil himself and made the trade which change his life for good.
Another good work here, although I like the cd 1 more than this
